Slaughter and May acted for The Arsenal
Football Club on its transfer dealings over the course of
the recent transfer window (which closed at 11pm on 31
August, 2011).
Work included advising Arsenal on the signings of German
international Per Mertesacker from Werder Bremen, Mikel
Arteta from Everton, Gervinho from Lille, Andre Santos from
Turkish side Fenerbahce, South Korean captain Chu-Young Park
from Monaco, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Southampton, Carl
Jenkinson from Charlton and Joel Campbell from Costa Rican
side Deportivo Saprissa.
Slaughter and May also advised Arsenal on the sales of club
captain Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona, Samir Nasri and Gael
Clichy to Manchester City, Emmanuel Eboue to Galatasaray,
Armand Traore to QPR and Gilles Sunu to Lorient.
The Slaughter and May team is led by corporate partner
