Slaughter and May is advising Royal Philips Electronics ON Cash contribution to the Philips UK pension fund

Slaughter and May is advising Royal Philips Electronics in relation to its cash contribution of EUR 350 million to the Philips UK pension fund and the fund's use of that contribution to purchase from Philips its entire equity stake in Nasdaq-listed, NXP Semiconductors NV.
The transaction was announced on 7 September 2010.
