Slaughter and May is advising Zamin Resources, the private developer of major new iron ore resources in South America, on the sale of its remaining 50% stake in the Bahia Minerals B.V. iron project, Brazil, to Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation PLC for a total consideration of US$735 million. The sale was announced on 22 September 2010. Zamin Resources were also advised by Mattos Filho (Brazilian law) and Stek (Dutch law).
