SJ Berwin announces major expansion of German and international real estate: Hans Thomas Kessler and team to join
SJ Berwin today announced a major expansion of its German and international real estate capability with the arrival of Hans Thomas Kessler and his team of lawyers. Hans Thomas Kessler’s team will add to SJ Berwin’s existing capacity in the areas of real estate transactions, real estate financing, infrastructure and real estate funds. Hans Thomas Kessler, previously partner and director of the Real Estate Law group at Beiten Burkhardt, is one of the leading players in the expanding German real estate market. He and his team were recognised by Juve as the ‘2006 Law Company of the Year for Real Estate Law’. For SJ Berwin, Hans Thomas Kessler’s arrival significantly enhances the firm’s real estate practice not only in Germany, but across Europe. Hans Thomas Kessler advises numerous international and German clients. He operates on the Russian market and in China is playing a growing role as a consultant for real estate funds.
