International legal practice Norton Rose LLP has appointed Andrew McEachern as Global Director of People and Talent Development, a new senior management position within the practice. He joins from Goldman Sachs International in London where he was the Chief Operating Officer for the Human Capital Management Division in Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA). He will join Norton Rose LLP in April 2009. Andrew is a senior HR professional and brings the combined experience of working as an HR professional at the very highest level with experience of working as a lawyer in private practice and in-house both in the UK and internationally. Andrew will sit on the board of the Executive Committee (EXCO) of Norton Rose LLP. He will offer strategic direction and leadership to the partnership and specifically to the senior management team on issues such as performance management, future talent management, and training and development.
