Travers Smith Head of Corporate Finance Spencer Summerfield, Corporate partner Philip Cheveley and Head of Banking Jeremy Walsh are advising new client Midas Capital plc ("Midas"), an AIM quoted company which encompasses fund management, wealth management and corporate services businesses, in connection with the proposed restructuring of its banking facilities with Bank of Scotland plc ("BoS"). Under the terms of the restructuring, £26.0 million of the £36.5 million owed by Midas to BoS will be converted into preference shares, ordinary shares (and warrants to subscribe additional ordinary shares), and £12.0 million into a new senior debt facility.
