International legal practice Norton Rose Studio Legale has advised UniCredit Corporate Banking S.p.A., Centrobanca S.p.A., Banca Nazionale del Lavoro S.p.A., Banca Popolare Friuladria S.p.A., Banca Popolare di Vicenza S.c.p.a., Banca Antonveneta S.p.A., Banca Popolare di Verona - S. Geminiano e S. Prospero S.p.A., Mediocredito del Friuli-Venezia Giulia S.p.A. and Veneto Banca S.p.A. on the debt restructuring of Appliances Components Companies S.p.A. (the parent company of the ACC Group) and its subsidiary Elettromeccanica S.p.A.. ACC Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing of components for household and industrial appliances. It comprises two main business areas, ACC Compressors and ACC Motors, and has numerous international subsidiaries and affiliates, including in Germany, Austria, Hungary, China and the US. The Norton Rose team was led by Milan-based banking partner Mario Lisanti, assisted by dispute resolution expert Cecilia Buresti (Of Counsel, Milan office) and banking associates Domenico Petrone, Federica Periale and Alberto Castelli, all based in Milan. ACC Group was advised by Alix Partners, Mediobanca and Paolo Pecorella, Senior Partner of the Italian law firm Janni Fauda e Associati. Mario Lisanti commented: "We are extremely pleased to have contributed to the successful completion of this complex transaction, which is good news for ACC Group and all its creditors and employees. This matter is part of a wave of debt restructuring work on which we have been instructed since the start of 2009; we expect activity levels in this area to continue to be high at least until the end of this year."
