International legal practice Norton Rose Group has won The Lawyer Law Firm of the year 2009 award. Norton Rose LLP Chairman Stephen Parish received the award at The Lawyer Awards on the 23 June 2009. The award ceremony was held at theGrosvenor HouseHotel Park Lane, London. Norton Rose LLP chief executive Peter Martyr commented: “What is particularly rewarding about winning this prestigious award is that our culture was recognised as something that we have retained over the years. It has also added significance given our announcement concerning Deacons Australia joining Norton Rose Group was made on the same day.” Deacons Australia will be joining Norton Rose Group as of 1 January 2010.
