Kromann Reumert assists the Danish bank, Sydbank, who is one of the defendants in the first and so far only class-action in Denmark where a number of minority shareholders in the bank, bankTrelleborg, were forced to redeem their shares in the bank in connection with Sydbank's purchase of bankTrelleborg. The Supreme Court ruled that it was sufficient to describe the working hours as "flexible depending on the on-duty schedule" and that the employer was under no obligation to make the applicable collective agreement available to the employee. The case, which has been set down for trial in February before the Danish Maritime and Commercial Court, is one among many cases pending between the Danish State and IT suppliers about projects that have failed.
