International law firm SJ Berwin’s real estate department has advised The Crown Estate on the re-gearing of the head lease of the former Dickins & Jones premises at 224-244 Regent Street to Delancey/Shearer. Delancey, together with Shearer Property Group, developed the one acre north Regent Street site to provide retail units on the basement, ground and first floors, with offices on the upper floors and a rooftop restaurant. The SJ Berwin team was led by real estate partner Helen Willett, assisted by associate Sally Thomson. Sally Whitney, senior (real estate) associate at DLA Piper advised Delancey/Shearer, assisted by senior (banking) associate Lorraine Clover.
