David Parton has rejoined international law firm SJ Berwin's Real Estate Division as a Senior Associate in its Construction Group. Parton originally joined the firm in 2006 and left two years later to join Clifford Chance. After 18 months, he has returned to SJ Berwin. His appointment takes the Construction Group to one partner and seven associates. Parton has been recruited to work closely with Head of Construction, Julia Court to further build on the firm's traditional development work, but also to push the firm's energy and infrastructure work, which is a growing area of expertise in the firm. Key clients include Delancey, Gazeley, AXA and The Crown Estate. Jon Vivian, Head of Real Estate at SJ Berwin said, "David's re-appointment is good news for us, as our Construction Group remains busy on both the non-contentious and the contentious side. We are delighted to welcome David back and believe his expertise will give a good boost to our Energy and Infrastructure offer."
