Norton Rose advises Numis Securities Limited

International legal practice, Norton Rose LLP has advised Numis Securities Limited, as sponsor, broker and underwriter, in relation to Primary Health Properties PLC’s (PHP) fundraising of approximately £60 million by way of a firm placing and a placing and open offer. The deal was announced on 18 September 2009 and dealings in the new shares commenced on 7 October 2009. PHP specialises in the ownership of freehold or long leasehold interests in modern purpose- built healthcare facilities, the majority of which are leased to general practitioners and other associated healthcare users. PHP's portfolio comprises over seventy five primary healthcare facilities, both completed and committed, the majority of which are GP surgeries, with other properties let to Primary Care Trusts, pharmacies and dentists. The Norton Rose LLP team was led by corporate finance partner Julian Stanier assisted by Kathy MacDonald, Mark Ward and Keith Law. Nabarro LLP (Glyn Taylor) acted for PHP.
