International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised leading power and automation technology group ABB on a new $2bn credit facility. The new three year facility announced today replaces ABB's existing facility which was due to expire in July 2010. Freshfields' team was led by finance partner Alex Mitchell and included finance associates Wendy Chan and Joel Rees. Alex said: "The terms of this facility reflect the continuing confidence of the banking market in ABB. We are delighted to have advised ABB on this important transaction."
