Bas Boris Visser elected as new Office Managing Partner of Clifford Chance Amsterdam

International law firm Clifford Chance announces today that Bas Boris Visser (41) is unanimously elected as the new Amsterdam Office Managing Partner. His 4-year term starts as of today. Bas Boris succeeds Jan ter Haar, who will fulfil the same role in the Clifford Chance offices of Moscow and Kyiv. Besides his new role, Bas Boris will remain active as a partner in the Finance & Capital markets practice, which is one of the most leading practices in the Dutch market. Bas Boris started his career at Clifford Chance in 2001 in the Finance & Capital Markets practice and was appointed as a partner in 2003. He is part of the financial institutions group and advises amongst others supervisory authorities and financial institutions on topics related to the credit crisis. Bas Boris further focuses on restructurings, acquisition finance and secured lending.
