Freshfields advises Gas Natural on €2,250m bond issue

International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised Gas Natural Capital Markets, S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Spanish Ibex-35 company, Gas Natural SDG, S.A., on an issue of new notes with an aggregate principal amount of EUR 2,250 million under its EUR 8,000 million EMTN programme guaranteed by Gas Natural SDG, S.A. The new notes will be issued in three new series on 2 November 2009 and are to be listed on the London Stock Exchange. Freshfields’ team included corporate partner Monica McConville in London working with corporate senior associate James Pointon and trainee solicitor Dominic Jones in Madrid.
