Slaughter and May advises J.P. Morgan Cazenove and NM Rothschild on Laird rights issue

Slaughter and May is advising J.P. Morgan Cazenove and NM Rothschild in relation to the 1 for 2 rights issue announced by Laird plc on 28 October 2009. The rights issue will raise net proceeds of approximately £89 million (before expenses) and is fully underwritten by J.P. Morgan Securities. J.P. Morgan Cazenove is acting as bookrunner, broker, joint sponsor and joint financial adviser. NM Rothschild is acting as joint sponsor and joint financial adviser.
