Norton Rose advises Aspria on acquisition of luxury sporting club and spa in Milan

A cross-border team from international legal practice Norton Rose has advised the Aspria Group, one of Europe's finest spa and family sporting club operators, on the acquisition of Harbour Club Sporting and Spa in Milan, the top-rated club in Italy. The Aspria Group, which owns and operates health and sporting clubs in Germany and Belgium, has won numerous prizes, including: No 1 Club Operator in Germany 2008/9 by GQ Magazine and No.1 Spa and Health Club Group in Belgium 2009 by Elle (Belgique) Magazine. The Norton Rose team, based in London and Milan, was led by Ian Fox (Corporate finance partner, London office) and Paolo Daviddi (International managing partner, Italy). Norton Rose senior associate Rebecca Oliver (London office) and partner Gennaro Mazzuoccolo (Milan office) advised on finance issues in the context of the acquisition. The law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe advised the sellers.
