Slaughter and May advised Aegis Group plc, as issuer, in connection with the private placement of £25 million senior unsecured notes, US$18 million senior unsecured notes and US$165 million senior unsecured notes in the United States of America. The obligations of Aegis Group plc under the notes are guaranteed by some of its English, US, Dutch, Australian and Singaporean subsidiaries. Slaughter and May provided English law advice for Aegis Group plc and its English subsidiaries guaranteeing the notes. US law advice was provided by White & Case LLP, Dutch law advice was provided by DLA Piper Netherlands N.V., Singaporean law advice was provided by Allen & Gledhill LLP and Australian law advice was provided by Addisons. RBS Securities, Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. acted as co-placement agents.
