New legal panel appointed for Segro

Listed property company, SEGRO plc has appointed Nabarro, SJ Berwin and Eversheds to its panel to look after the property giant’s property legal work. SEGRO acquired Brixton plc in 2009, gaining Brixton’s substantial industrial portfolio. SJ Berwin was one of Brixton’s main lawyers. Following the takeover, SEGRO has rationalised all its operations and put its legal work out to tender. The three successful firms have been appointed to the panel for a three year term from 1st February 2010 and will share the legal work. SEGRO is Europe’s leading provider of flexible business space and is one of the largest UK REITs. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and Euronext in Paris and specialises in office, warehouse and industrial property with 5.1 million sq m of business space in its portfolio. It is in 10 countries.
