Slaughter and May advised INEOS on Disposal of INEOS Fluor

Slaughter and May, as an integrated team with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, advised INEOS on the disposal of its international fluorochemicals business, with operations located in the UK, US and Japan, to Mexichem SA de CV. The deal, announced on 2 February 2010 and subject to receipt of relevant regulatory and other third party consents, is expected to close by the end of March. Slaughter and May and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP together advised on all English and US law aspects of the transaction.
