CMS Hasche Sigle advises SÜSS MicroTec AG on sale of SÜSS MicroTec Test Systems GmbH

SÜSS MicroTec AG has sold SUSS MicroTec Test Systems GmbH to NASDAQ-listed Cascade Microtech Inc. The deal includes the assets belonging to the Test Systems division, which is headquartered in Sacka, Saxony. CMS Hasche Sigle advised SÜSS MicroTec AG on all aspects of the transaction. SUSS MicroTec Test Systems GmbH is one of the world's leading suppliers of measurement and test systems to the semiconductor industry, employing some 120 people at the Sacka site and across its international operations. SÜSS MicroTec AG is a world-leading special equipment manufacturer for the chip and micro-system engineering industry. The company is listed on the Prime Standard of Deutsche Börse and based in Garching, Germany. The sale of SUSS MicroTec Test Systems GmbH is part of a strategy by SÜSS MicroTec AG to focus on the core competence of the SUSS Group, namely micro-structuring in micro-electronics.
