NOTICIAS/ NEWS DEALS - OPERACIONES published MARCH 23, 2010 CMS Hasche Sigle advises Fleggaard Group on acquisition of Calle Grenz-Shops Denmark-based Fleggaard Group has acquired the Calle Grenz-Shop chain from the Andresen Group. Calle Grenz-Shop is a specialist retailer with nine branches and around 400 employees in East Holstein and around Flensburg that focuses on German-Scandinavian cross-border shoppers. A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by lead partner Dr Heino Büsching advised Fleggaard on all aspects of the transaction. This acquisition gives Fleggaard Group market leadership in German-Danish cross-border retailing, with the customers being primarily consumers from Denmark. Fleggaard already operates in the German-Danish border area with seven branches of the DanDiscount chain. The Fleggaard Group also includes two hotels, four leasing companies, a corporate healthcare firm, a private clinic and three wholesaling businesses.
