Slaughter and May, working as an integrated team with Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, is advising Emerson Electric, the diversified global manufacturing and technology company, on a possible cash offer for Chloride Group which values the company at approximately £723 million. The possible offer was rejected by the Board of Chloride on 26 April 2010. Chloride is an international provider of UPS Systems and Solutions.
