NOTICIAS/ NEWS DEALS - OPERACIONES published June 09, 2010 Freshfields advises ABB on its recommended offer for Chloride International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is advising ABB Ltd, the Swiss based global power and automation group, on its recommended cash offer for Chloride Group PLC, the UK listed supplier of UPS systems. The offer values Chloride at approximately £860 million. The ABB legal team is led by general counsel Diane de Saint Victor assisted by Chief Counsel M&A, Natascia Rubinic. The Freshfields team is being led by London corporate partners Barry O’Brien and Piers Prichard Jones assisted by Helen Archbold and Alex Norman. Employment and Pensions advice is being provided by partners Kathleen Healy and David Pollard assisted by Laura Harrington. Berlin based partner Helmut Bergmann is leading the anti-trust team supported by associates Miriam Bechtle in Berlin and senior associate James Aitken in London.
