NOTICIAS/ NEWS DEALS - OPERACIONES published July 20, 2010 Slaughter and May advises Tomkins on Proposal by consortium Slaughter and May is advising Tomkins plc, the global engineering and manufacturing group, on an approach about a possible offer for the company by a consortium comprising the Onex Corporation and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. The proposal, which was announced on 19 July 2010, values Tomkins at approximately £2.9 billion.
