NOTICIAS/ NEWS DEALS - OPERACIONES published July 30, 2010 Slaughter and May advises Aegis on Proposed acquisition of Mitchell Communication Group Slaughter and May is advising Aegis Group plc ("Aegis"), the listed, UK-based marketing agency, on its proposed acquisition of Australian media buyer, Mitchell Communication Group ("Mitchell"). Aegis and Mitchell have entered into a Merger Implementation Agreement under which it is proposed that Aegis acquire all of the issued capital in Mitchell for approximately AUD 363 million. The acquisition will be implemented by way of a Scheme of Arrangement under the Australian Corporations Act. Freehills is advising Aegis on Australian law. Jeff Twentyman (partner)
